Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based treatment program geared toward improving dizziness and balance issues. The aim is to enhance your ability to carry out daily activities without experiencing symptoms. This is achieved by:
Improving gaze stability (the ability of your eyes to remain steady on an object while your head moves) with special exercises
Improving balance through a series of exercises targeted toward different body systems
Decreasing vertigo (a sense of spinning or other type of motion) or other types of dizziness
